  • A podiatrist is an allied health professional with specialist training to prevent, diagnose, treat and manage conditions affecting the foot, ankle and leg. If you have concerns about any of these areas, podiatrists should be your first point of contact.

  • You can make an appointment by:

  • Generally, you do not need a referral to see a podiatrist. However, a referral would be needed if you are attending through your Enhanced Primary Care plan (EPC) via your GP, or through the Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA) via your GP. In these instances, the referral needs to be addressed to Collingwood Foot Clinic and dated prior to, or on the day of, your appointment.

  • An initial consultation is $98, and a subsequent consultation is $85.

    Shockwave therapy, orthotic casting, and certain procedures will incur further fees. Collingwood Foot Clinic is transparent about its fee schedule and will advise on any additional costs with you before proceeding. A list of scheduled fees can be found [here]. Collingwood Foot Clinic is a cashless clinic, and payment is to be made via EFTPOS, visa, or MasterCard. All fees must be paid on the day of your appointment following your consultation.

  • Collingwood Foot Clinic is a privately billing clinic. This means that you may be able to use your private health insurance to cover a portion of the fee. Please bring your health fund card on the day of the appointment so it can be processed through our TYRO / HealthPoint system.

    EPC referrals: If you have been referred to Collingwood Foot Clinic under an EPC, there will be an out-of-pocket fee of $19.

    TAC and DVA referrals will be bulk billed.

  • For appointments relating to foot pain, Collingwood Foot Clinic recommends bringing your current footwear, work shoes and runners, as well as any previous orthotics or insoles. Previous imaging reports are also helpful.

  • Collingwood Foot Clinic will tailor your treatment plan to your individual needs. This means you may require one appointment or multiple. In any case, this will be discussed in your initial consultation.

  • Collingwood Foot Clinic is located at Level 5, 51 Langridge Street, Collingwood (within Collingwood Medical’s specialist suites). There is limited parking around Collingwood, with paid street and off-street car parks available.
